Wireless network guidelines
If you use Remote Desktop to control and observe client computers connected using a wireless network, communication errors may appear in the Computer Status window.
To optimize performance for computers in a wireless network, do the following:
Update all Remote Desktop client computers to the latest versions of Remote Desktop and OS X.
Limit the number of clients that connect to a single wireless access point. Only one device at a time can communicate on a given wireless channel. All devices connected to the same wireless access point may also need to connect with each other to communicate other network information.
Adjust the multicast speed higher on your wireless access points. Configure each base station with a station density of high to limit the range of the base station, so client computers must be within 50 meters of it.
Resize the observe and control window to a smaller size.
