Save tasks

Save tasks so you can quickly repeat them later. You can save tasks for creating reports, copying files, sending messages to users, or shutting down computers. You can’t save Control or Observe tasks.

Save a task to the sidebar

  1. In the task window, click Save.

  2. Name the saved task.

Edit a saved task

You can edit a previously saved task, including its settings and the computers on which the task executes.

  1. In the sidebar of the Remote Desktop window, double-click the task to edit.

  2. Change the task’s settings and computer list.

    Remove computers by selecting them and pressing the Delete key. Add computers by dragging them from a list to the task.
